David had a love for adventure and the outdoors. Whether cycling through scenic routes, perfecting his golf swing, skiing on snow-covered slopes, or fishing with friends and family, he embraced life's moments with unmatched enthusiasm. David's love of camping and roadtrips led him to nearly every corner of the United States, with the goal of experiencing the unique beauty each state had to offer.

A man of unwavering faith, David's spirituality was a guiding force in his life. His connection with God provided strength, wisdom, and a profound sense of purpose. This deep-rooted faith was a source of solace for David, shaping his character and influencing the positive impact he had on those around him.

In 1981, David graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from Thiel College in Greenville, Pennsylvania and a Master's of Arts in Higher Education Administration from Bowling Green State University in 1986.

For over three decades, David dedicated himself to his consulting business, The Motivation Group. His sharp mind, insightful advice, and commitment to excellence made him a trusted mentor and a beacon of inspiration for colleagues and clients alike. His legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched through his work and guidance.

David's warmth, kindness, and genuine friendship earned him a special place in the hearts of many. As a father, he leaves behind a loving legacy through his children: Shayna (Johnathan) Duke, Samara Stanford, Alexander Stanford, Serena Stanford, and grandson Jace Duke. His memory will forever be cherished by his mother, Marva Stanford, siblings Michelle, Edward, James, and Robert, and his nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by his sister Ruthie Stanford and his father, Edward Stanford. In their reunion beyond this life, may they find eternal peace.

David Anthony Stanford's bright light, adventurous spirit, and compassionate soul will be dearly missed. May he find eternal rest, and may his memory continue to inspire us all to live life to the fullest, just as he did.
