Mr. David Paul Spiegeland, of Pemberton, New Jersey, born on September 9, 1964 in Toms River, New Jersey, to Dawn Spiegeland and Benjamin Spiegeland, passed away at age 54 on September 11, 2018 in Cape Coral, Florida. He graduated from Pemberton High School. David was the loving husband of Wendy Spiegeland. He is survived by his parents Dawn and Ben; son, Tyler Spiegeland ; daughter, Cara Beth Spiegeland; stepdaughters ,Darcy and Jessica ; stepsons , Doug and Blake ; brother, Kenneth Spiegeland; sister, Christine Spiegeland; granddaughters , Lacy and Aubrey, mother of his children ,Mary jo Layton;large extended family and many friends..
Davids career was in construction, custom closets, and skilled carpentry. His hobbies included collector, guns n roses fan, diehard eagles fan, and sharing laughs with his wife , kids,grandkids and dogs as much as possible.
Over the years Dave lived in Pemberton, Jackson and Cream Ridge NJ, but resided in Cape Coral Fl. since 2007. Dave loved music, rock concerts and impersonating Sammy Hagar. He passed on his love of music,singing voice, smile,endurance, and Guns N Roses passion to his pride and joy, Tyler, and taught him at an early age how to make it to the front row at any concert.
He passed on his laughter,curly strawberry hair, faith, positive outlook, love of tattoos, and sense of humor to his “daddy’s little girl “ Cara. She has a unique father daughter tattoo she will always cherish.
David was blessed to meet his wife Wendy in Florida and they married on 4/20/2014. The two were inseparable .They shared a joy for life, relaxed hippie style and deep love for each other. They cared for their home and pets with much love and pride. David was one of a kind,and left an imprint on every life he touched. A private memorial service will be held in New Jersey.
