I just found out yesterday as I was out of the country, I am truly saddened by the horrible news and my thoughts and prayers go out to the Shuman family.

I had met Dave 11 years ago as he was my manager a few months after he brought me in to a different restaurant in South beach.

Thru out the years we always kept in touch especially in the past few weeks as David moved back down to South Florida.

We actually planned to meet up and perhaps work together again,

David was a kind and caring person that always laughed and cracked jokes. He had always treated me with the upmost respect despite him being my manger and the age gap between us.

I will always have positive memories of him in my brain and heart. RIP Mr. Shuman
