It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Mr. David Secor SR., a respected and cherished member of our community. David was brought into this world on February 3, 1961, and gently left it on August 19, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of strength and determination.

Surviving him is his  wife, Cindy Secor. His memory will continue to inspire his children, David Secor JR., Cindy Secor, Dorothy Secor, Lisa Secor, and Kevin Secor and many grandchildren, who were fortunate enough to be brought up under his love, guidance and wisdom.

David is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family members, who held a special place in his heart. His brother, James Mason, preceded him in passing, and it is a comforting thought that they are now reunited in rest.

David Secor was not just a man, but a beacon of resilience and courage for those around him. His personality was marked by a unique blend of sarcasm and wit, both of which often shone through in his conversations. Known for being resourceful, he was always the go-to person in times of crisis and his approach to life, filled with determination and strength will continue to motivate all who knew him.

A memorial service to honor David, celebrate his life, and commemorate his lasting legacy will be held on August 25, 2025, at 2:00 PM at McVeigh Funeral Home, Inc. We invite all those who were touched by his life to join us as we pay our respects and remember a man of undeniable character.

David Secor's life was marked by exceptional courage, immense strength, and enduring love for his family. His legacy will forever be a testament to his incredible spirit.
