David H Sackal, passed away on November 9, 2021 suddenly after a 3 week illness with covid 19, pneumonia and a sudden onset heart attack. He was in the ICU at Grandview Hospital for 1 day prior to death and 14 days in Rm #377. He was admitted due to shortness or breath/low Blood Oxygen level. He was born Sept 15, 1943 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania to Mildren Koch & Andrew Sackal. His step father Raymond Houck married his mother in 1965. He is pre deceased by his mother, father, step father, wife - Virginia L Sackal, brother Richard Sackal. He is survived by his brother Andrew Sackal and wife Joyce Sackal, Brother in law Robert Thacker and sister in law Joy Thacker, his sister in law Nancy Rhoads and Husband Richard Rhoads, his son Christopher Sackal, Daughter Crystal Sackal and only Granddaughter Riley L Gillespie.

He served in the Army during Vietnam in Fairbanks, AK. He attended Pottstown HS class of 1961. He regularly went to the Pottstown YMCA where he played basketball. He worked for and retired from KIWI Brands in Douglasville,PA, one of only six employees who worked for 35 yrs before retirement.

 Life long Philadelphia Eagles fan, 76ers fan and Richard Petty Nascar fan. Elvis Presley & Oldies music. Preferred the "Good ole days" and loved his time in Alaska.
