So sorry to hear of the passing of Dave. I was surfing the internet searching for old high school friends and came across Dave’s obituary. I met Dave (Sabu) Sabat in Wilkinsburg High School, Wilkinsburg, Pa. where we both lived in 1970 and for the next five - six years you wouldn’t see one of us without the other. We packed a lot of good times into those brief years of hanging out together. There were many times hanging out at his house on Morrow St. with Dave and Mrs. Sabat.  Johnston School playground was our main stomping ground and what GREAT TIMES  we shared together. Deep Purple  and Black Sabbath concerts at then Pittsburgh’s Civic Arena and Alice Cooper and Humble Pie at Three Rivers Stadium and a few more over the years. I have nothing but GREAT MEMORIES of Dave and as I look back it’s sad that friendships drift apart but that is life I guess. People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime and I was blessed to have known and cherish the memories that I have of Dave as my friend. My belated condolences to Dave’s family.
