There's not may people that you can say totally changed your life, but as I look back, D. Brian Ritenour was definitely one of them. He had charisma to spare, a joy for life, and sense of humor you couldn't resist. He exemplified a Knight in the Legion of Honor, always there to lend a helping hand to those that followed the path of Love, Truth, and Honor. His visit to Eta Xi (Little Rock) in the Spring of 1989 ignited our chapter to pledge 49 men the following Fall...more than doubling the size of our Sigma Nu chapter. He encouraged me to apply to Sigma Nu Headquarters and I was fortunate enough to stand on his shoulders to get the job. I'm beyond grateful for his brotherhood and am grieving for his wife, sons, and daughter. I can still see him walking backward and giving the Elvis salute as he left the room.
Ladies and gentlemen, Brian has left the building...and God blessed me with his brotherhood! RIP RIT
In your Honor , I’ll always be TCB⚡️

So sorry to hear that Brian passed away. I had the privilege to work with him at Yellow Book. Brian had a strong work ethic and walk with the Lord. There was a big event for a few days called "Promise Keepers" in Cincinnati in which Brian, Rod Baker in myself attended along with over 40,000 men. It was wonderful, spiritual time for all of us. To those left behind,... The Lord called him home early as He does with many of his believers. His joy is now Brian's joy! Prayers are with his family and friends. Mark Yarro
