We mournfully announce the passing of David Rector, 39, of Kansas City, KS. David passed away on March 03, 2023, after a hard fought battle with depression.
David, born to Laurena Rector and Terry Ruzick, on April 07, 1983, in Kansas City, KS. David attended Warsaw High School and went on to pursue a degree in welding. David’s biggest passion in life was writing. An avid guitar player, he spent countless hours writing music. He …

There will be no formal funeral or graveside services. Once David's headstone has been completed, some of his ashes will be buried next to his grandmother, Dona J Russell.
An informal memorial will be performed by his oldest sister, Renae Grogan. At which time, some of his ashes will be scattered at locations he loved as a child and places he dreamt of going.
Details of both his headstone placement and his traveling memorial will be posted in updates.
