It was an honor and a privilege knowing and working with David all these years. He truly was the star of our team. He is and will continue to be missed each and every day. Our hearts, thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

My daddy was one in a million that's how I felt about him because my dad was kind hearted, loving, hard worker and compassionate person. I love how a positive thinker he was, till this day am trying hard to work on. I remember having a conversation with him about being a positive thinker and he said that he was always very positive about achieving his goals that he never doubted himself about what he wanted in life and once he made a plan about what his goal was he knew that he was going to be able to reach it with no doubt. He would always tell me to take things easy and to not stress about things because life was too short and should live everyday as it was our last day. In this time I wish that I could hear those words from him again because I feel so lost without him but I know that he is always going to be with us. My dad was a very funny man even though a lot of people thought he was very serious but he was not nothing like that. I loved see him how he would joke with my mom. I saw how much he loved her and loved making her smile ..I just loved it seeing how much they loved each other because it was something you could feel and see when you were around them how much they care for one another. I felt that we were the most lucky girls in this world to have him because he was and will always be the greatest daddy, husband and most of all greatest grandfather!!!! He loved his grandkids and I would see the joy that came into the house when we would hear him say "Ya llege" (I arrived) from work even though he would have been tired but he always received us with a big smile and kisses when he came home and it was great knowing he was home. My dad would always say that his girls would be the joy of his house but no he was the joy of the house. I love you so much daddy and miss so much!!!!! I know that he will be watching over us like he would always do. Daddy daddy until we see each other again love so much!!!!

Dear Sandra and David's family,
What a beautiful tribute that you wrote in honor of your father. He was everything you said and more . I knew David since 1998 when I joined Toll Landscape . As a Landscape Designer it was always comforting to know that your Dad would be installing a job I had sold because it would be installed perfectly and the home owner would be happy because he would always exceeded expectations . He treated every job like it was his own business and his workers truly respected him. I will greatly miss knowing that Dave will not always be here at Toll Landscape . He was our strong anchor. When I see the picture of Dave and his grand children I know why he was such a humble man , a true Christian character, it was because he realized how truly blessed he was . What a beautiful family . I used to joke with Dave because he hardly had any grey hair yet he raised 5 daughters. I have 2 daughters and a full head of grey hair : ) Please know my family and I continue to pray for all of you and most of all Please know that David is in Heaven watching over all of you as he did here on earth . God Bless you all . Andy
