Background
Our loving father passed away weeks after contracting Covid-19. My father, who was the strongest man we know, fought hard to come home to his wife of 40 years. My father was admitted to St. Mary's Hospital on October 30th and never got to see his wife and daughters again. My father's heart gave out on November 24, 2020. We had all the faith in the world, that he would recover. He was a relatively health 68 year old man, who worked 5-6 days a week to provide for his wife and their home. My parents both worked tirelessly for the home they share for 22 years. My mom has not worked for a few years now due to a work injury. My father had planned to work till their home was paid for. He planned on retiring afterwards so he could relax alongside my mom. To us, his death was unexpected. We thought for sure, he would return home. We prayed endlessly for his recovery. We are creating this fund for my mother, who is now left without the love of her life and someone who she did depend on financially. We would appreciate any donations, really. If you knew my father, money was necessary but wasn't everything. My father was truly a devoted husband, father and grandfather to his 9 grandchildren and one on the way. My father was a kind and driven man who would do everything he could for his family. He didn't have any hobbies but to watch soccer on tv till he fell asleep on the couch. He didn't have any bad habits so he would be a good example to his children and now grandchildren. My dad was driven by love for his family. I know my father would have done anything in his power to come to his wife and children. Even as adults, our father meant the world to us. He never left my mother's side for any reason whatsoever. Their love was one of a kind. His passing is a great loss to her and all of us. His memory will live on till we all leave this world one day. We will love and cherish his memory, forever. We can only hope that finally after working for so many years, he can rest in peace. Any money donated, will be put towards the home they shared.
Thank you, all.
