David's obituary

David Elwood Quick (77) of Columbus, Ohio passed away at home on Thursday, October 17th after a long battle with cancer. David was preceded in death by his parents Delver and Frances (Peck) Quick; brother Jack Quick; and his friend and partner of 28 years, Mary Hughes. David is survived by daughter Sheri (Michael) Kamer; grandsons Max, Avery and Jack Kamer; brother Gary (Shelly) Quick; and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

David grew up in McArthur, Ohio where he graduated from high school in 1965. He loved motorcycles, music and movies. In the 17 years before he retired, he worked at Dublin Coffman High School.

David’s wish to not have a funeral service is being respected. If you wish to honor David, consider making a donation to your favorite charity in his name.
