I always said David was like a second dad to me and I dearly loved him. It is because of David that I have spent a career in healthcare. Back in the beginning of my career and knowing David I can remember many times that he would embarrass the heck out of me by things that he would say and then just laugh. It was then that I knew he was doing it just to aggravate me calling me the good Baptist girl. I will never forget when I learned that he and Sharon made the trip to Florida for my wedding. That meant so much to me and everyone there was impressed that my past boss and his wife would come to my wedding. He was a heck of a boss and even better friend and I will carry with me always all the many things that I learned from him and all the multiple conversations that we have had over the years about everything from jobs to family to cabins, etc. you name it.  I miss him terribly but I know that I will see him again one day. Sharon and Shelly my heart is right there with you and I am praying for you and love you both.

We send our loving care to you both as you mourn the passing of your much loved David. Reading his obituary gave us a glimpse of a man who persevered through many challenges and was able to live a life full of love and purpose.
