I met Dave thru AA and friends of Bill W. His sobriety date was 2 days before mine. We always got to celebrate together when our date came around each year. Dave helped me more than you will ever know. He helped many others in their journey to sobriety and a relationship with a higher power. He had a huge impact on the local community of recovering people. His life and selfless a twins touched the lives of many people in and out of AA. I'm sorry I missed the services for him. I was out of town at the time. Dave was an awesome man and mentioned his family and children many times. God bless you and your family.Β
Oh Linda I am so sorry I just wrote you a letter and liked up your address and saw about David. I'm crying my eyes out, but I'm so sorry I wasn't there. David was always good to me and always had good things to say and share.Β
Love ya uncle Dave. We’ll all see ya soon! Tell your brother I love him

My name is Courtney S. And I met Dave some time ago through a mutual friend of ours Bill. One of my favorite memories amongst many are when I was newly sober and I was going through a seriously tough time. He knew I needed to get out of my head and out of town, a new place with new faces. So he told me he needed help at a few meeting today out of town β€œget in the car”. He always had a way of making me laugh while giving a suggestion as well. Needless to say It was exactly what I needed. He always had a listening ear for me and my rambling thoughts, the most honest advice, and showed that he truly cared for me and my sobriety. That kindness I was shown without a cost I’ll never forget. I can only hope to return it to others at such a level in his honor. My deepest condolences to the Peck family and friends, he was a true friend to me and I’ll never forget that.Β
From the day I met you and Linda at pizza crossing 1987 I believe, we have had such a wonderful friendship and alot of shenanigans.....pizza crossing...the pub....the Florida vacation...Las Vegas...such great memories and fun times. Dave was a wonderful husband, loving father and a great friend.Β  You will forever be missed and loved. I learned so much from you Dave growing up.Β Β

He helped me with once in a lifetime Christmas gifts one year for my mom dad, son and husband at the time... Your dad was able to get me OSU and Browns on black slate so you could put them outside (we never have) Your dad had an amorous heart... I have missed him and he will be missed forever in my eyes bc he was my friend just as you and your brother are... My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family... I love you guys...
