Dear Family and Friends,
I am writing to you today to let you know about the loss of Big Dave. On, Monday, January 20, 2020 He was called home with the Lord. He was a great father, grandpa, husband son, and a friend to all. Big Dave will give you the shirt of his own back first. I pray that Big Dave is celebrated for who he was. A man who dedicated himself to his family, loved his family, sacrifice for his family, that understood and implemented the value of the greatest gift God gave to human kind. This was a very unexpected event for the Patterson family and our father has battled COPD & Asthma for many years now, this has been a rough fight. He has fought until the very end because he was a fighter.
David’s Obituary can be found here later in the link. The funeral service will be held at Beulah Baptist Church at 5820 Dix Street NE Washington, DC 20019, on February 1, 2020 Viewing at: 10am Service:11am
We are absolutely devastated by David’s passing and are struggling to find the funds to cover the cost of the service and ship the body home to NC where he can rest easy with the rest of his family. Also so his family and friends can say there last goodbyes to and Amazing Man.
Please consider donating if you’re able to do so. As you know my father live with me and I financially carer for him for many years with his COPD & Asthma he was uninsurable so , We are so very grateful for every donation during this difficult time.
