Dave Park was one of the kindest and most thoughtful person my wife and I ever met. I can't cite the exact years at the moment, but it must have been a good 25 years when we first met in Irvine, California when he moved to Irvine with his family due to his job relocation. Somehow, we became friends and stayed very close to each other. Our two families had similarly aged children. Again due to his job, he and his family moved back to Calgary after a few years. His wife Joanne one day called my wife Janie to ask about my wife's business, "Kumon". The advice must have been positive for her decision to start the business soon after. She was very successful with it and enjoyed running the business. This same line of business as my wife's gave them opportunities to reconnect their relationship. A few years later, my family decided to visit them on our vacation, and explore Canada. We had a good reunion while we were staying at their home for the first night. To our surprise, they both took their time off from their work as well to entertain us and to guide us as a tour guide through our site seeing journey in Canada. Of course, we had a comfortable travel with a "personal tour guide" and enjoyed all the notable places to see including Banff and Jasper. Looking back, how many people would sacrifice their time and effort to entertain friends? He was truly a abundantly kind and caring person. We'll miss you, Dave. Rest In Peace! Steven

My fondest memories of David was his smile and confidence he would display. He was a righteous man and gave generously his time and resources. I am thankful to have known him and his family. His last days were beautiful and I am very touched to hear how he has impacted people around him. Thank you for the reminder of his gangsta looking photos when he was young. May he now rest his soul with the Lord and I pray for comfort for his family in knowing that they will meet again.
We are deeply saddened to our friend David's passing.
Fun and joyful memories we shared together will be with us through our life.
His warm and generous heart always brightened our days.
He will be missed a lot.
With loving memories,
Brian & Young Suh
We are deeply saddened by the passing of Uncle David. But we also rejoice that he is peacefully resting in heaven with our Lord. We remember 이모부's big smiles and the jokes he often makes during family gatherings. Whenever we visit 이모 & 이모부's place, he was always making sure that we were comfortable and were taken good care of. He has been a great role model and a spiritual inspiration to us. We continue to pray for the Park family for the Lord's comfort and guidance in these difficult times. We celebrate the wonderful life of Uncle David that he has shared with all of us. -Edward and Hana Song-
