David's obituary
It is with both sadness and gratitude that we share the passing of our beloved David “Dave” Padilla, who went home to be with the Lord on December 6, 2025. Born on May 25, 1979, David filled the world with warmth, laughter, and love from the moment he arrived.
David is survived by his devoted wife, Bridget Padilla, whom he married in 2001 and cherished every single day. Together, they built a joyful, lively, and loving family. He was a proud and devoted father to David Padilla, Aniyah Padilla, Desiree Jimenez, Matthew Padilla, Joseph Jimenez, and Lilia Padilla, each one a bright light in his life. His seven grandchildren, whom he adored with all his heart, brought him endless smiles and joy.
He is also lovingly remembered by his mother, Nancy Padilla and stepfather Adrian Rivers; his sisters, Alethia Padilla and Shelena Padilla; and his nephews Nicholas and Jacob, with whom he shared many of his most cherished core memories.
Anyone who knew David knew his remarkable spirit. He was compassionate, kind, loving, strong, faithful, understanding, helpful, funny, welcoming, hardworking, and humble. He carried these qualities everywhere he went—at home, in the community, and especially in his career. As a barber, David loved his craft and took pride in the conversations, laughter, and connections he shared with everyone who sat in his chair.
One of the most inspiring parts of David’s journey was his determination to rewrite his story. Through dedication, faith, and perseverance, he became a living reminder to “never give up, be true to yourself, and follow your dreams.” He proved that no matter where you start, you can transform your life with courage and heart.
Above all, David was a family man. He loved his wife, children, and grandchildren beyond measure. His strength, humor, and fighting spirit touched everyone around him, and even in difficult moments, he showed nothing but love.
