David's obituary
David Noyes passed away from a heart attack in Las Vegas, NV, on October 16, 2021, at 66 years old.
He was really proud of his daughters Ali Noyes, Mission, KS, Jenni Breeze (Bryan), Pittsburg, KS, and his one grandson, Cameron Breeze.
He was also survived by a younger brother Chris Noyes (Tammy), Cleveland, MO, a younger sister Linda Doty (Tim), Gahanna, OH, a sister-in-law, Jane Noyes, Liberal, MO, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Jim and Lucy Noyes, Liberal, MO, his younger brother Jerry Noyes, Liberal, MO.
Dave grew up in Liberal, Missouri. He then bartended at Hollywoods while attending Pittsburg State University as a Phi Sigma Epsilon and owned a local bar, Whiskey River. He also worked in the railroad transportation business for years before getting into car sales.
Known as Gorilla Dave to many, he loved to be on the sidelines watching PSU football. He made lifelong friends and countless memories, cheering on his favorite players and coaches.
In the last several years, he played poker at Downstream with friends. He spent his final days playing in the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas, just as we think he would've wanted.
So many people will miss Dave. Our family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.
