David's obituary
David M. McNiff, Jr., 51, died suddenly at his home on Wednesday March 10, 2021. Born in Troy, David was the beloved son of David M. and Barbara McNiff. David was a life long resident of Averill Park and was a graduate of the Averill Park High School.
David had been a clerk at the Center for Disability Services in Albany where he also made many friends. David enjoyed bowling, watching professional wrestling and his video games. David looked forward to Halloween and dressing in his costume, watching television and listening to music, especially Elvis Presley. He enjoyed the yearly vacations to the Outer Banks with his family.
Survivors in addition to his mom & dad include his devoted sister, Deborah (Edward) McNiff-Bracken of Houston, Texas; his niece, Windy Bracken, his canine companion, Emma Jeanne; his aunt and uncle, Christina and Joseph Mancinelli; along with cousins and many friends, including those at the Center for Disabilities. Relatives and friends are invited to a graveside service 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 17 at the Eagle Mills Cemetery, Garfield Road, Eagle Mills. Face masks and social distancing at cemetery will be required.
