David Lee Marriott Sr., aged 60, of Sedalia, Missouri, passed away on January 31, 2025 at his home. Born on October 16, 1964, David was known for his vibrant and fun-loving spirit.

David dedicated many years to his career as a truck driver, a job that suited his love for the open road and adventure. Beyond his professional life, he was an avid fan of the Chiefs, rarely missing a game and always ready to celebrate their victories. His love for the outdoors was evident through camping and fishing trips, and he was a master of the grill.

David leaves behind his wife, Darlene and his seven children, Bethanney, Tasha, Destiney, DJ, George, and Brayden, along with twelve grandchildren who brought immense joy to his life. He is also survived by his brother, Paul, and sisters, Robyn and Lorna. David was preceded in death by his parents, William and Posie.

A celebration of David’s life will be held at a later date, where memories will be shared, and his legacy honored. His jovial nature and hearty laugh will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
