Additionally, his leadership as a general manager for a chain of delis in and around Waco, known as McAlister's, showcased his commitment to excellence and his passion for people.

His faith was the cornerstone of his life, exemplifying the compassion, kindness, and forgiveness he extended to all. He is survived by his devoted spouse, Susan; his cherished sons, Jonathan and Jacob; his adored grandsons, Liam and Jason, who were a source of immeasurable joy; and his beloved brother, Lon.
