David's obituary

David Marcum, 77, of Visalia, CA, passed away on November 25, 2024 after a long battle with cancer and other illnesses. 



David was born on April 20th 1947 to Roy William and Bertha Beluah Becker Marcum in Cupertino. He graduated from Homestead High School in Cupertino, CA.  Dave worked at R.R. Donnelly as pressman for 40 years. . In 1967  he met Sheila Leonard and they wed in 1968, and raised 2 children.


Dave was a force of nature, incredibly gifted with many talents he used to help provide for his family.  His family meant more to him than anything else in the world. He was unendingly proud of Trona and Aaron.  Dave loved riding his motorcycles, especially his Harley. He was also a passionate about fishing, boating and an avid animal lover.  He was always willing to help others and volunteered at his church until he could no longer work. Dave was predeceased by his Father, Roy William Marcum, Mother, Bertha Beluah Becker. He is survived by wife, Sheila Marcum, sisters, Cheryl Cooper, Wanda Marcum, Daughter, Trona (Shelly Hendricks), Son, Aaron (Kim) Marcum, 5 Grandchildren, Landon, Luke, Estella Hendricks, Korbin and Austin Marcum. 4 Great grandchildren, Lyle, Zoey, Lucy and Georgia Hendricks.  The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to The Journey church. . There will be celebration of life at December 15th at 4:00pm. at The Journey church in Visalia, CA.
