David Mathew Mannikko, 51 yo, lived in Central SC, has went to be with the Lord on July 26th 2023 @ 12:05am, while in CCU at Oconee Memorial Hospital in Seneca SC.  His passing was due to an extended illness and complications from exsisting health problems. 

David was preceeded in death by his: parents- Martha Mannikko (Anderson), and Jack Mannikko, and various relatives (aunts, uncles, and cousins) he was very close to.

David is survived by his: life partner & children- Holly Lawrence, Alexis Evans, Mathew Mannikko, & Gabriella Lawrence (Monroe, GA); his close family members- (Siblings) Sandra Mannikko (Central, SC), Paul Mannikko (Beorne, TX), & John Mannikko (Toccoa, GA); his niece(s) & nephew(s)- (Niece) Susanne Landress (Mannikko) & Jeremy Landress (Central, SC), (Great Nephews) Jack and Victor Mannikko, (Great Niece) Adora Rose LeAn Sweeten (Mannikko). 

David was above all a selfless individual, always putting everyone before himself. He always talked about if he ever won the lottery, none of our family, relatives, or close friends would ever had to worry. He would of gifted and shown how much he loved all of us, if he had that chance. David was a good father to his children, he loved them all so much, that he fought with everything he had to stay for them. He always loved seeing them happy, and watching them grow up. His life partner, was his bestfriend, and he always loved her with his whole heart. He never stopped loving her, and couldn't let her go, even in his final moments. He is definitely loved by so many and all of us are going to miss him immensely. Now he is at peace with his mom and dad, whom he missed every year and every holiday. He is made anew, no more suffering, no more pain, he is now with the Lord and our family. We will miss him till we see him again.

Funeral arrangements are as follows- 

A Celebration of Life is being held on August 12th 2023 ; 1-5pm, at Welcome Home Baptist Church; Address- 1702 Welcome Home Road, Mt Airy GA 30563. Anyone is welcome to come, and if you knew David, the family would like folks to bring pictures, share memories, and/or write a little something in our welcome book at the entry way. The family are in hopes of having great memories shared, so that his children can have something to look back at and remember him by. Thank you all in advance, as we are still grieving the loss of such a sweet, kind, and caring individual, that we were blessed to call- FAMILY.
