Background
David Mannikko went to be with the Lord on 7/26/23 at 12:05am. He was preceded in death by his parents - Martha & Jack Mannikko, along with various relatives he loves/loved. He is survived by- his life partner: Holly Lawrence, his children: Alexis Evans, Mathew Mannikko & Gabriella Lawrence. His siblings: Paul, John & Sandra Mannikko. One niece: Susanne Landress, her children (his great nephews and niece): Victor& Jack Mannikko, along with little Adora Sweeten(Mannikko). Various relatives he loves/loved. I was not only his niece in the end. I was his primary caregiver. I was a PCA from 2015 to present, so his Medicaid paid for his care. We had part of his income as well, with our living expenses, which hurt us financially when I no longer had hours, and his income has stopped coming in. We just moved; matter of fact, the night we were loading our U-Haul, they called to tell us to say our goodbyes. His heart was too weak, and he wouldn't make it through the night. We are having trouble finding help to pay for his cremation and services. If anyone could please help us, to put my sweet uncle to rest, we would be very grateful. He was a great father to his 3 kids- Alexis, Matt, and Gabby. He called his life partner Holly his best friend and never kept anything from her that was important. He worked so very hard till he couldn't anymore. And he loved his close family so much, he'd go broke for them just to help. He never met a stranger and always made life long friends along the way. He is truly going to be missed by everyone. Please in lew of flowers, donate to help make his wishes possible. We need to have him cremated and we're in need of a Church service, that I know will need to be done soon at our family's Church.
