Dave was one of the most skilled carpenters I’ve met. I learned so much from him over just one summer working together in Bellingham. He will always be in my heart.
Sorry for your loss I have a lot of fond memories of Dave, I remember when we went to Canobie Lake and he must of been around 7 and asked me to ride the old wooden roller coaster with him. I do not like heights I thought if a 7 year old can take it so can I. He was so excited he had his hands in the air screaming with delight, I had my hands clenched screaming for dear life waiting for the ride to end. He had a smile on his face all day after that. He always talked about flying on a plane, our town was offering airplane rides on his 16th birthday I treated him to an airplane ride, he sat in the front and the pilot let him fly the plane. He flew over his home and he had a great time. In the summer we use to go over his house and his mom would treat us to hot dogs and we would swim in the pool. Afterwards his mom and I would play games on the computer and he would entertain his cousins Jackie, Mandy and Peter. He loved that he was in charge and they loved it too. Those are just some of the memories I will always cherish. He will be missed by all of us. Love you Dave.
I’m sorry Joy. May have only met you once if that but I was very close with Dave when he lived in Bellingham. Smoked my first joint with him and another friend Jason and I’m getting emotional just thinking about it now. Sadly they are both gone now. Jason died in 96. Please email me if u can. My name is Mark Semenuk
Sorry if this isn’t an appropriate way to correspond, I just found out today about Dave. My Apologies and condolences
I am sorry for your loss Joy. David was a special guy, no doubt about that. He was one of a kind, always had a story to tell. He was someone I would spend hours talking to and yet there was never a silence or a lack of conversation. He was the closest person to me and I will miss him so deeply. I loved him dearly. I’ll miss you forever David, I love you. 💕
