David's obituary

Born on January 2, 1954, in Pittsfield, MA. He was the son of the late Louis and Rose (Polcaro) Litano.

Following his graduation from Pittsfield High School in 1972,  he enlisted in the United States Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wives - Marygrace Maiorano, Mindy Novaris and Brenda  Quackenbush - each of whom played a cherished role in his life.

David came from a large Italian family and at a young age he found his passion for baking and later for cooking.  He was given the opportunity to work at his Aunt Gig & Uncle Tony’s bakery, Scelsi’s, in Pittsfield as a teenager and always talked about those days with fond memories.

He went on to be a chef, working for many years at Frank Simone’s Restaurant. He throughly enjoyed making people happy with the dishes he would create.

When he wasn’t in the kitchen, he could be found riding his chopper Harley, whom he named. Tequilla Sunrise.

He had a huge heart and will be missed by family & friends.
