David Ray Lauritzen, aged 69, passed away on March 5, 2024 in Florence, Oregon after battling with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis.

David is survived by his four daughters, Heidi Hart (David Wilhelm), Jill Barton (Robert), Hayley Hinckley (Spencer), and Stephanie Lauritzen; five grandchildren, Canyon Hansen (Carli Jo), Tristan Pratt (Hayden), and Cole, Victoria, and Gwen Barton; and one great-grandchild, Jaks Hansen. He is preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Georgia (Wamboldt) Lauritzen, as well as his cherished friend whom he loved, Travis Jensen.

David asked to be cremated. His ashes will be buried at a private family cemetery in Eugene, Oregon. There will not be a formal memorial service, but those wishing to pay respects can do so on this website (curated by his daughters).
