David Parker Lange was a dedicated, caring, loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend. He left this world with his family by his side on November 22, 2021.

He was born to Raymond and Patricia (Parker) Lange on December 6, 1946. He grew up in Port Huron, Michigan spending his days water skiing, swimming, boating and hanging out with his friends who better know him as "Lange-Wa".  Telling stories from his childhood and teenage years always put a sparkle in his eye. He graduated from Port Huron Northern High School, then joined the Navy branch of the military and served in the Vietnam War.  After, Dave started his career with Kmart Corporation where he met his wife, Denise. Together they had three daughters Nickie, Tricia, and Lindsey. Dave retired from Kmart Corporation after 40 years. He then became a substitute school bus driver for Williamston Community Schools. Being born and raised in Port Huron, he enjoyed everything to do with the water. He especially loved  spending time with family and friends. He engaged with everyone as though he had known them for years. Dave was always ready to lend a helping hand with a smile on his face. He was so talented in his ability to build and repair anything. He enjoyed working in the yard, photography, Michigan State sports, playing with his grand kids and "shooting the breeze" with everyone he came into contact with. His love and zest for life was infectious.

Dave is survived by his wife Denise (Smith) Lange; they were married March 1, 1975; children, Nickie (Josh) Arnold, Tricia Lange, and Lindsey (Jacoby) Voigt; grandchildren, Jake, Luke, Levi, Emma, Addy, Parker, Tessa and Elise; sisters, Nancy (Lyle) Meharg, Linda (Howard Fern) Nugent.

He is preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Patricia.

With the recent rise of COVID-19, we will be having a celebration of life in spring/summer of 2022.
