David Edward Kopel, 47, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Melbourne, FL on April 28th, 2025.

Born in New Jersey, on March 18th, 1978, to Joel Kopel of New York, NY, and Christine Kopel of Wales, UK.

During his youth, he lived in Miami, FL, before moving to Melbourne, FL.

He enjoyed working with computers, reading medieval fantasy books, and a casual gamer.

When he could and was able, he loved greatly to spend time with his nephews and nieces. And in his heart, he longed to have children of his own one day.

He was always concerned with the meaning of the Bible and he constantly offered prayers for his loved ones. May we remember him as an endless fighter, a passionate person, and a Child of the Lord Jesus Christ.

He is survived by his parents Joel and Christine of Melbourne, Florida. His sister Emma, and brother-in-law Cesar, his nephew Avynn and nieces Orianna and Daliah of Orlando, Florida. His brother Joseph and sister-in-law Jessel along with his nephews John and Josh, and niece Jaicelle of Barnard, Missouri.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the First Baptist Church at 4300 N Wickam Rd, Melbourne, FL 32935. Saturday, May 3rd at 3:00pm.
