David's obituary
Dave graduated from Phelps School District, class of 1957. Following graduation, he worked in the Phelps area’s logging industry and attended classes at Andrews University in Berrien Springs, MI.
Dave married Marilyn (Follett) Konkel, they continued to live in his childhood home in Phelps, WI. They celebrated 37 years of marriage.
Although, in his later years Dave was unable to attend church, Dave was an active member of the Clearwater Lake SDA church and had many lifelong friendships within the church. Dave valued his strong relationship with God, his family, and hard work. Dave was a lifelong resident of Phelps, WI, and he truly loved and valued the Phelps community.
Dave is predeceased by his parents, 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Survived by his wife Marilyn Konkel, Daughter Darlene Suddeth and Son-in-law Jason Suddeth of Chattanooga TN. Sister Joan Rabehl of Milwaukee WI. Sister-in-law Kathy Konkel of Rhinelander WI. Sister-in-law Darlene Konkel of Oak Creek WI, as well as, many nephews and nieces.
A memorial will be held at the Clearwater Lake SDA church in Eagle River, WI, August 5, 2018 at 11 am with a potluck to follow.
