David Allan Jasmin passed away peacefully at Hartford Hospital on Wednesday, January 17th, with his wife Kathy and daughter Jenny by his side.
To many Dave was also known as "Smiley" for his infectious laugh and sense of humor. He was an avid Yankee fan and cribbage player. He loved playing baseball and enjoyed skiing and golfing. Dave found joy and pride in creating many different price of woodwork. Even creating beautiful birdhouses and donating them to local organizations.
David grew up in Colebrook with his parents and brother. He graduated from Region 7 in 1985. David spent many years servicing tires for Zeller Tire and Toce Brother, he loved his work as well as the many friends he spent his days with throughout the years.
David was a Fourth Degree Knight at the Knights of Columbus Unity Council #37 and an active member in his community. David is predeceased by his parents Isidore Paul Jasmin 2 and Mary Dietlin Jasmin. He is survived by his older brother Isidore Paul Jasmin and his companion Dee, his beloved wife of 20 years Kathleen Clady Jasmin, his son David, and daughters Teresa, June, Kristina, Ashley and Jennifer. He also leaves behind his 16 grandchildren and his niece and nephews, Michelle, Mark and Todd along with many other family members.

David held his family and friends dear to his heart and is finally resting in peace.

Kathleen, Jenny and family would like to thank his home nurse Jennifer as well as the many doctors and nurses who cared for him at Hartford Hospital. A special thank you to RN Kaitlin, for making him comfortable and supporting us in his final hours.
