David JaMarr Brown, beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2025, in Santa Clara, California, at the age of 69.

Born on September 11, 1955, David lived a life marked by compassion, conviction, and charisma. A dedicated lawyer by profession, he used his voice and knowledge to stand up for others and champion justice. But his legacy extends far beyond the courtroom.

David was a man of many passions. Whether casting a line while fishing, sharing fellowship at church, giving back through homeless outreach, bowling with friends, or producing music in his spare time, he lived fully and generously. He believed in service, creativity, and community—and he practiced all three with grace and joy.

David is survived by his four children: Chris, JaMarr, Raven, and Shontell Brown, and by his cherished grandchildren: Tim, Ebony, Joshua, and Sean. His love for his family was deep and unwavering, and the lessons he passed on will live in them forever.
