Hi Ruby, I'm a fellow Stantec employee that came across your post on Viva Engage.  Although I don't know you personally, I wanted to send my condolences to you on the loss of your exuberant and dearly loved husband. I love your slogan "Adventure Before Dementia". You lived a lifetime in the 20 years you were together and I'm sorry you didn't get to enjoy another 50 years with him.

I want to extend my sincerest condolences for the loss of such a great person.  Im completely heart broken and am missing Daves presence immensely.  The texts, teams and calls and our memes, gifs and jokes. I will forever have those memories.

You fit in so seamlessly with our family it’s like you were always there; it was meant to be. You are the best bonus cousin EVER! We always looked forward to seeing you at thanksgiving and learning what new adventure you and ruby were up to throughout the year. Your presence, conversation and laughter filled our hearts and souls. Thank you for being a positive person in our lives leading with love, laughter and compassion. You inspire us to live bravely and boldly.
