David M Hruska, passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022 at the age of 61. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Karen, daughters Amy (Jacob) and Kailey, son Ryan (Carolyn), and grandchildren, Paige and Matthew. 

Dave was an amateur radio enthusiast and hobbyist programmer who may have made contact with life on Mars. Although he didn’t spend time baking, he spent a lot of time talking about what he could do with Raspberry Pi (electronics kits). Our family takes comfort knowing we can look at the wall and know when the International Space Station is overhead. 

Born and raised in Brook Park, Dave enjoyed serving his community as an Auxiliary Police Officer. His favorite places included the gun range, where he took up black powder shooting outdoors during the pandemic. He liked to learn and get lost in the details, and boy was black powder shooting the activity for him. We are all so happy that he had something to focus on over the last few years.

Funeral services will be private, but the family will host visitors at a happy hour in his honor on Tuesday, March 1st at the Brew Garden (18590 Bagley Road, Middeburg Hts., OH 44130) from 6-9pm.
