David Hopson, 56, of Clarksdale, MS, passed away on November 17,2022 after a long battle with Cancer.


David was born on June 10th,1966 to Sissy Dotson and David Hopson in Rome, MS. After graduating from Coahoma Aggie High, May 1985. In 1984, he met Dana Pryor, and they got married going on to have 3 children, Deon Pryor (Gwendolyn Davis), Sam Hopson (Judy Hopson), and Dedra Lakes.  Anyone who knew David knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. David was proceeded in death by his mother and father. He is survived by his sister Melony Hopson, Jeremy Hopson (Candice Grant) and Stacy Fields.
