David Hicks,71, died January 3rd, 2020 at home.

He was born in Manchester New Hampshire on May 24th 1948 one of six children to Edgar and Glenna (Rumphrey) Hicks. He is preceded in rest by his only daughter, Dawnielle (Hicks) Chaney, his sister Alana (Hicks) Colford and father, Edgar Hicks.

He will be missed by all who knew him. He was a good man especially to his mother who he had been taking care of for many years.
He was a hard worker. He worked for Merrimack Valley College of Manchester, New Hampshire for many years.
The college changed its name years later to the University of New Hampshire at Manchester. He was the manager of the maintenance department for many years until he retired. He later moved to Maine and finally settled in Brandenburg Kentucky.
He leaves behind his only son David Hicks and his wife Virginia of Georgia.
Other family members include two bothers, Donald Hicks and his wife, Helene, of Kentucky, Shawn Hicks and his wife, Marian of Missouri, two sisters, Linda Crocker of Bangor, Maine, Rhonda Resteen and her husband Randy of Kentucky. He has two grandchildren and five great grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
