Background
Our family is grieving the loss of Dave — a devoted husband, father, and a deeply loved presence in our lives. His passing has left an immeasurable emptiness, and we are doing our best to navigate this loss while honoring the life he lived and the love he gave so freely.
Dave was fun, cheerful, and genuinely easy to be around. He was a great listener who cared deeply for his wife and his kids — biological, step, and fur alike. He loved music, Harley motorcycles, and the color purple, and he carried a lifelong appreciation for the freedom and spirit those things represented. A proud Navy veteran, Dave lived a life shaped by service, connection, and curiosity.
Dave had a gift for collecting stories — and blessed us with a lifetime of our own. The memories he created with family and friends will be carried forward and shared for generations.
With grief, comes unexpected financial burdens related to end-of-life arrangements. We are raising funds to help cover the cost of cremation, as well as expenses for a Celebration of Life taking place in June. This gathering will allow family and friends to come together, share stories, play the music he loved, and celebrate Dave in a way that truly reflects who he was.
Any contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward easing these expenses and allowing our family to focus on remembrance rather than financial stress. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser or keeping our family in your thoughts means more than you know.
