My sincerest apologies upon the delay of posting David's obituary. I am not completely aware of my brother's death nor of the circumstances that surround it. Therefore it was making it difficult for me to say my final; "so long for now." So, by faith my hope is in tomorrow. For this much I do know David surrendered his heart & gave his life to our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. Therefore I will see him again. Amen

David J. Hawkins, age 68 suddenly passed away September 5th, 2018 in Homosassa Florida. He was pronounced dead at Seven Rivers Regional Medical Center, Crystal River. David was born February 6th, 1950 in Plainfield, New Jersey & raised in Bridgewater Township. He had a great enthusiasm for life & laughter. As a youngster at different times he nursed an injured racoon, squirrel, & bird then sent them back to the wild praying they would survive. …
