David L. Haney, age 65, passed away after a long battle with cancer on October 23rd, 2019 in Davenport,
Florida. He is preceded in death by his parents Ivan “Ike” Haney and Lou & Janet Richardson. Dave leaves behind his beloved wife Kathryn Haney. He is also survived by his sisters Tami Richardson and Jennifer Hurtt, brother Chris Richardson and his children Nicole & Joe Hillstead, Travis & Jesse Haney, Anjee & Tom Neeley, David & Penny Slocum and Molly & Adam Dill. Born September 1st 1954 in Vancouver, WA. he graduated from Columbia River High School in 1972.
He was a loving man who enjoyed spending time with his family. Retiring after 34 years as a Locomotive
Engineer for BNSF Railway he and Kathi enjoyed traveling and spending time with their 13 grandchildren who will dearly miss their Papa-Gramps.
In lieu of flowers the family would ask that a donation be made to Legacy Cancer Institute.
