David Gruber, 58, of Chesterton, IN passed away after a short battle with Pancreatic Cancer on December 25, 2022, surrounded by his family and loved ones. David and his four siblings were born in Gary and grew up in Merrillville, IN. David spent his life in the NWI region . He worked at Signature Graphics for several years and enjoyed cooking, watching movies/TV shows, Batman comics and making dirty jokes. David will be dearly missed and always remembered.

David was predeceased by his mother Patricia M. Brennan, father Albert Gruber and nephew Edward Gruber. He is survived by his siblings Thomas Gruber of Colorado, Jim & Melissa Gruber of Wanatah, Kathie & Jeff Gruber-Jones of Valparaiso, Carol & Tom Harsh of Chesterton  and nieces and nephews Jeffrey Gruber, Katie Gruber, Elizabeth Ridgeway, Kimberly Gruber, Krista Gunter, Bryce and Sierra Jones. David requested a celebration of life be held in his honor as opposed to traditional funeral services. We request all of David’s loved ones to join us in celebrating his life and memory at The Spa on Thursday December 29th from 4-7p.
