Dave was born in Newark NJ on September 27th 1958 shortly after his family moved to Edison NJ and when he was young moved to Metuchen where he spent his childhood as well as a good amount of his adult life. 

When he met and married Lisa they moved to Neshanic station and some years later settled in her hometown of Manville NJ. 

Dave prided himself on his knowledge of mortgages, township rules and regulations, construction, HVAC and of course his career over the last 25 years of Real Estate. Owning and operating U R Home Realty with his wife Lisa  Payne. 

Dave loved helping people, anyone who called with a problem he was always right there to lend a hand.   He was a board member with the Manville Federal Credit Union, A prior VP on the Manville board of Health,  Kiwanis for many years, The Elks, and the RE Ethics Board. 

Helping those in need was a big part of Dave's life.  

He loved adventure, music and generally doing spur of the moment things. He loved to travel, watch how it's made, and Antique Road Show, Big Fish, A Bronx Tale, and Boardwalk Empire,  laughing, family/friends and barbeques. 

Dave leaves behind his loving wife Lisa of 15 yrs married and over 20 years together. His children Katherine and Daniel Griswold, His extended family Son Michael and Daughter in Law Renee Gilreath, Daughter Sandra Gilreath and his 4 extended family Grandchildren, Jolan, Alyra and Casidhe Gonzalez Amber aka Rambler Gilreath, and Son in Law Nick Gonzalez.   He also leaves behind his Aunt, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and his cherished friends.   

He will be missed by many.   Our Hearts are greatly saddened at his leaving this world, but rejoice in the fact he is now free to fly high above us all.
