I can't believe he his gone, he was the BEST ,KINDEST, WISEST and most FAITHFUL man I have ever known. It makes me so sad to see him gone, but he is in much better place. I will take some comfort from that, but I'll miss him just the same, until I see him again. My thoughts and prayers are with the Gilbert's. I will never forget him .

Dear Friends,

I wanted to extend a thank you to everyone who attended the funeral service for Dave.
I also want to apologize for some confusion which prevented us from being able to see everyone who attended.
As you can imagine, that day was a fog in some ways & I’m now realizing what happened. We had planned to see everyone before & after the service. Later, when I realized that people were at the service but I didn’t see them, I just assumed that they had to leave, & understood. Now I realize that there was some miscommunication concerning the final viewing after the service, which prevented us from seeing many people who couldn’t stay for the luncheon.
I’m so sorry for that mistake. I can’t tell you how much we appreciate each one of you for taking the time to come & show your respect for Dave. Again, I am disappointed that I didn’t get to see everyone who attended. Please accept my apology & forgive the
mix up.

Thank you for all you’ve done for Dave & us. We deeply appreciate it & are humbled.

Nothing but happy, loving memories of Bible Baptist Church, Pastor Dave & Michelle, and the Gilbert "kids" are forever etched on my heart. My son Kenneth and I were members there for many years and the love outpoured by Pastor and Michelle, and to be honest, EVERY family at Bible Baptist, who loved us and treated us like family speaks volumes for Pastor Dave & Michelle's examples. The wonderful memories I have as part of the Bible Baptist family, like going to Grass Valley preachers conference, Lake Havasu (thank you Christine!), camping at Leo Carrillo, and of course camp at Ironwood; I still cherish and hold dear to my heart to this day.

Pastor Dave was a great preacher and taught us straight from the Word of God. He was a great shepherd who lead his flock to love God, seek God with all of our heart, obey God, & Praise Jesus for His sacrificial death, burial, and resurrection, and to look for His coming.

May God hold the Gilbert family, and all of the BBC members who loved Pastor Dave, close to His heart and give you peace.
