It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David Lorne Snowdon-Gallant (74), who peacefully left this world on January 7, 2025, at Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton, ON. 

David is now reunited with his beloved mother, Margaret Snowdon-Canning, and his cherished siblings, Gail, Marvin and Harvey.

David leaves behind a loving and devoted family who will forever treasure his memory. He is survived by his wife, Barbara; his children Alan, Crystal, Chris and Lorraine; and his grandchildren, Alan Jr., Ashley, Taylor, Justina, Alisha (Shelby), Mackenzie, Jacob, Brody, Peyton, and two Noah's. David is also survived by his siblings, Mary, Bob, Allan, Joy, Cindy and Darlene; whose love and connection he deeply valued. David was also a proud uncle.

David’s life was marked by his warm heart, his unwavering support for his family, and his enduring strength. Whether sharing a laugh, lending a helping hand, or simply being a steady presence, David made an indelible impact on those who were lucky enough to know him.

A memorial service in honour of David will be held on January 21st from 1:00-3:00pm at Dodsworth & Brown Funeral Home - Robinson Chapel (15 West Ave N, Hamilton, Ontario). Family and friends are invited to join us in remembering and honouring the incredible man we will all miss dearly.

David’s legacy of love and kindness will continue to shine through all those he leaves behind. Forever in our hearts, he will be greatly missed.
