FIELDING, David

After a short stay in the ICU at the Campbell River Hospital, on Monday, September 16, 2024.

David Fielding of Campbell River in his 79th year, born February 3, 1945 in Stratford-Upon-Avon, UK. Beloved husband of the late Patricia Marie Bernadette Fielding. Dear father of the late Karl Fielding, Aaron (Kathleen) Fielding of Union Bay and Victoria (Jason) Wilson of Willow Pt., grandfather to Lauren, Brianna, Patrick, Aimee, Sarah, Aidan and great grandfather to Holden. Uncle of Brenden, Mark, Lindsey. Brother of the late John (Barbara). Son of the late Harry and Rene (nee Lomax) Fielding, suddenly passed. 

David will be sadly missed by many Fieldings, in England, extended family in Canada, and friends. David will be fondly remembered for his love of family (including fur babies), a passion for outdoor adventures, football (not only playing but a life long supporter of Manchester United), cricket, racket ball, rugby, darts, exploring wanderlust, debating, and an occasional pint, or few.

A Celebration of Life and an informal gathering to share stories, memories and refreshments will be held at Roberts Lake Recreation Site (Campbell River) on Saturday, September 28th, 2024 at 3pm.
