David was a beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He loved spending time with family, playing golf,  bird watching, working crossword puzzles, and faithfully watching his Cowboys play football. 

David will be remembered most by his family and friends for his uncanny wit and charm. His love, laughter and explosive personality brought great joy to all those that surrounded him. He will be greatly missed by all that had the honor of having him in their lives.

 David, passed away on July 9th 2024 after complications due to Lewy Body Dementia. He was 68.

He is survived by daughters Teah Smiley, Chelsea Montgomery,  son Cory Farrell, granddaughters Kaylee McCurley, Mackenzie Hughes, Allee Smiley, Kinlee Smiley, grandsons Gavin Smiley, Carson Montgomery, Nolan Farrell, Easton Farrell, great grandchildren Raylee McCurley, Julianne McCurley, Rhett Sorrells, son-in-laws Tyson Montgomery, Tim Smiley, grandson-in-law Garrett McCurley, brothers Dudley Farrell, Dwayne Farrell, sister-in-laws Patty Farrell,  Joanne Farrell and a host of nieces, nephews and others. He was predeceased by father Ernest Leroy Farrell and mother Jolene Farrell. There are no events planned except a private memorial service for family members and close friends. You may make a donation to the Lewy Body Dementia Association in his honor as an alternative to flowers.
