i grew up with david during the 60's in houston. we were good friends at the time who played little league baseball and football together. david was a gifted athlete who played catcher in baseball and a halfback in football. he was also a very kind guy as was his dad, jack, who was our coach. i also remember his sister, sherry(sp?) babysitting my brother and i on more than one occasion. i'm sorry to david's family for your loss.
though i hadn't had contact with david in over fifty years, i'll still miss him.

David grew up around the corner from my house. His parents and mine were best of friends. It was a joy knowing David as he hung around with my brother Mike. I adored his family growing up. Every member of his family were such good people. Just plain fun to be around. He will be missed.

I am so saddened to hear of David's passing. I have so many wonderful memories of our families and times spent together with our grandparents every holiday and so so many weekends at the original simple bayhouse in San Leon and later the Marina. David was always so full of life and energy! And he was definitely a waterman and fisherman and definitely a hard worker. He and his beautiful wife, Rebecca, built a beautiful life and family together! I will miss him, the sound of his voice and his laugh. So many memories. My love and deepest condolences to Rebecca, Sarah and Nick, Steve, Sherri and our entire family, know that we will be sharing in your sadness and grief. Connie
