David Eugene Kehl, 72, of Kensington, passed away on Thursday April 20, 2023, at Akron Children's Hospital, from injuries related to an accident at home.

Visitation will be at 4:00 pm Thursday April 27, 2023 at Maple-Cotton Funeral Home in Kensington Ohio.

David was born in Alliance to Lester B. Kehl and Marie (Decker) Kehl on November 08, 1950. He married the love of his life, Bonnie Kay (Hein) Kehl in 1978. David attended West Branch High School. He was an experienced diesel technician. David’s hobbies included deer hunting, fishing, riding ATVs, and cooking out with friends and family.

David Eugene Kehl is preceded in death by his wife Bonnie Kay (Hein) Kehl, April 02, 2023, and his parents Lester B. Kehl and Marie (Decker) Kehl.

David is survived by his children, Mike Wilson of Hartville, Kimberly (John) Walton of Minerva, Timothy Wilson of East Rochester, Patricia Kehl of New Philadelphia and Shelley Kehl (Tom Slack) of East Rochester. Eight Grand Children and seven great Grand Children. His siblings, James Kehl of N. Canton, Linda Morgan of Albany Ga., Janie Kehl of Norman Park Ga., Sheri Whitlatch of Moultrie Ga., Don (Cheryl) Kehl of N. Benton, Ron (Kim) Kehl of Minerva. And many loving nieces and nephews.
