David Erik Klein, aged 39, of Akron, OH, passed away on December 31, 2021. He honorably served his country in the United States Navy.

Born on July 21, 1982, David was the beloved son of Thomas Klein and the late Vicky Klein (Sproull). He was a devoted brother to his younger sibling, Dylan Klein, and his older brother, TJ Klein. David held his family close to his heart, finding solace in their presence.

David leaves behind cherished memories with his daughter, MaKayla Klein, and son, Logan Klein. He took great pride in being a loving father and found joy in their accomplishments. Tracy Duiguid, David's ex-wife, remained an important figure in his life, and he held a special place in his heart for her. Mary-Ann Klein, his step-mother, provided unwavering support and love throughout his journey.

David formed lifelong connections with his fellow servicemen and women during his time in the Navy. His military associations in the United States Navy brought him purpose and camaraderie. Among his dear friends, Breesha Noffsinger held a special place, offering unwavering support and companionship.

David will be remembered for his unwavering bravery, loyalty, and selflessness. He touched the lives of many, leaving behind a legacy of love and friendship. His memory will forever be cherished by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A private ceremony will be held to honor David's life and military service. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to a veterans' organization of your choice.

May David Erik Klein rest in eternal peace, comforted by the knowledge that his sacrifice and service will never be forgotten.
