I am so sorry for your loss and Davd's passing. Though he left us too soon - his humility yet drive, his humor yet seriousness, etc. - remain with me.   He was simply a great man but more importantly a great human.    Peace and Love.  Stan

Holidays, dinners, parties, game nights, walks, long chats, home group, development, adventures, and the kids playing & growing up together in the streets and playrooms.. all cherished memories of our families just doing life together for the past decade.. 🥹💗 David was an immense presence and always an image bearer of his faith, first. We are so encouraged by David’s zest for life, his steady presence and encouragement, his courageous battles, and now his legacy living on in the ripples of others… we are ALL inspired for knowing and be loved on by David-  a true heart gift. 🥹

We love you-  xo Lindsay 💜

David was my roommate for a summer internship at UT Southwestern, which remains one of the best experiences of my life, and largely because of David.

We got along incredibly well and shared great moments with him introducing me to his favorite cuisines/restaurants, awesome TV shows and movies like Band of Brothers and Donnie Darko.

He helped me start to learn how to code HTML, something I used for the rest of my career. He introduced me to sriracha sauce and it became my favorite hot sauce ever.

We invited each other to everything that we did that summer and he gave me a ride to work on many days.

He was incredibly kind, fun, easy to get along with, funny and just a genuinely good person. He will be greatly missed and not soon forgotten.

My deepest condolences to his family and I’ve been praying for him often lately.

We are sorry for the loss of your husband, father, son and a wonderful human being. We are friends of Harry and Julie Lee. They shared updates on David’s brave journey with cancer.  Our condolences to you and your family.

Although we didn’t work together closely, I was often inspired by David from afar. His presence filled the room, and his energy lifted every effort he touched. I’m deeply sorry for this loss. My condolences to the Engfer family.
Your family has been my second family for so many years. Thank you for sharing them. I am grateful that you have found peace - your light in the world will be missed. <3
My condolences to David's family. I worked with David at Pariveda and consider him one of the most critical mentors in my career and reasons for where I am today. His fun-loving, fearless nature rubbed off on everyone around him and pushed them to be the best versions of themselves. He’ll be missed by many.
He was a wonderful dad and every time he came to Argyle South we were so excited to have him in our classes. He had that wonderful energy that lit up the room, and the kids were always so excited to spend time with him. Always ready to engage, play, and be silly to make memories! A true role model for our young ones.
We will miss David. We send our love and prayers to you all during these times.   He is with The Lord. No doubt about that. love to all of our Texas Engfer family.  Steve and Nickey
David was a wonderful human being and Fin. We all miss him dearly.
My thoughts and prayers go out to your family. David was a great leader whose impact and influence will always be remembered.
