Personal note

We hope you can join us to help celebrate Dave's life and what he gave to all of us. For those coming from out of town, we suggest you use one of the travel sites (for instance, Expedia) and suggest that you choose a hotel downtown or near downtown as that is where the Sunday events will be held.

David George Ehlert

David George Ehlert, 77, of Asheville, died peacefully on Jan. 5 after a sudden downturn in health brought on by a series of strokes.

Born in Wisconsin Rapids, WI, he was preceded in death by his brother, Laird, and two previous wives, Sandra Hanson Ehlert and Dodi Tibbitts Peterson Ehlert.

David was a 1963 graduate of the University of Wisconsin where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Speech and …
