David A. Deicher, age 57, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, WI.

David was born on August 11, 1964 in Dodgeville, WI to Roger and Karen (Carpenter) Deicher. He grew up in Plymouth, WI. He attended Illinois State University in Normal, IL. He proudly served in the United States Air Force for 10 years and did tours in Korea, Desert Shield, and Desert Storm. He married Mary Mezera on December, 21, 2002. They spent a total of 24 wonderful years together.

He worked as a senior electronics technician in the Plasma Physics Department at the University of Wisconsin Madison. He held an amateur radio license and his call sign was KD4GAX. Later, he was honored to receive his fathers call sign K9EMG.

David is survived by his wife Mary; mother Karen; daughter Krystle (Patrick) Bradley, grandchildren Erica and James; and his close brother Charlie and two other brothers. He is further survived by his father and mother-in-law, David and Maggie Mezera and brother-in-law Matthew (Lea) Mezera; his best friend Charlie Galeles; He is preceded in death by his father, an infant brother Dennis, and his grandparents.

His memory will be honored at a later date.
